Company History

Kowit & Passov Real Estate Group was formed in 1996 as the result of Brad Kowit and Steve Passov’s desire to build the best retail brokerage firm in Northeast Ohio. Fifteen years later, along with hard work, great agents, unparalleled market knowledge, and a sense of urgency, Kowit & Passov has become just that – the market leader. 

In 2004, Kowit & Passov expanded its brokerage services to include office leasing.  Alex Russo, with over 20 years of experience, joined the brokerage to run the office division.  Kowit & Passov currently has 17 leasing agents representing both landlords and tenants in retail, office, and industrial transactions. 

Kowit & Passov has grown into an all encompassing brokerage firm offering a wide variety of services. We handle the full range of leasing assignments, from small shop space to large big box developments.  We also exclusively represent many national and local tenants with their real estate needs.
